2023 Officers of UNAP Local 5019
The election of officers shall be conducted by mail and shall be conducted in in May 2023.
In the event that only one person is nominated for each of the positions then the election chairperson will install the officers and chairpersons into office.

Nominations will be accepted for the offices of:
President
*The candidate elected as President will serve on
the Executive Council of the United Nurses and
Allied Professionals.
Executive Vice President
The Executive Vice President sits on the Local
Executive Council, serve on the bargaining team
and assists the President as needed.
Treasurer
Keeper of the finances. For details call.
Secretary
Records minutes at meetings and other
correspondence at the direction of the President
Unit Chairpersons
Unit Chairpersons sit on the Local Executive Council,
serve on the negotiating committee and represent their
constituent members (see below).
The Unit Chairpersons seats are listed below:
- Zambarano Memorial Hospital/ESH
- Rhode Island Veterans Home
- URI/CCRI/RIC
- RICLAS/BHDDH
- DHS/EOHHS
NOTE:
- All members may run for President, Executive Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary.
- All members vote for each of these candidates.
- OFFICERS NEED AT LEAST TEN SIGNATURES ON THEIR PETITION.
NOTE:
- Only a member who works in a designated Unit Chairperson area may run for that office or vote for the specific Unit Chairperson.
- Unit Chairpersons need at least 10% of their unit’s membership.

The petition must be signed by the candidate. Nomination forms are due Thursday, April 23, 2023 no later than 4:00 p.m.
