Dear Member:

As you may know, Article 4.7 of our local’s constitution grants the executive board the ability to change the number and names of the VPs as well as reconfigure the areas the VPs cover.

After a thorough examination of the VP slots and areas that they cover, the Executive Board decided to change the number and configuration of the Vice President’s slots to facilitate better representation and serve the membership.

The Board voted on January 16, 2024 to increase the number of Vice Presidents from 5 to 7 and change the areas they cover.  This change will take place for the upcoming nomination and election period this spring.

The new Vice Presidents names and areas they cover will be:

  1. Psychiatric (West 4), Geriatric Psychiatry (West 3), Addiction Medicine, (Center 1)
  2. Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Case Managers, Nurse Educators
  3. Interventional Radiology (IR), Endoscopy, Nuclear Medicine
  4. Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU), Post Anesthesia Unit (PACU), Peri-Operative Services (POS)
  5. Emergency Department (ED), Behavioral Health Room (B-Room)
  6. Cancer Center, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (BMT)
  7. Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Center 3, E3A, E3B, E2B), Bariatric and Surgical Oncology/Orthopedic Surgery (C4, E4), Floats

UNAP Local 5092

Dear UNAP Member,

   The nomination period for the offices of Local 5092 is open and nominations shall be accepted until Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 4:00pm. Enclosed you will find the nomination and election notice and a petition to nominate yourself or someone else. If you want to nominate someone else, you must have them sign the petition. The petition must be signed by the candidate. Any unsigned petitions shall be discarded. The seats open for nomination are as follows:

   There are no absentee ballots. In the event that only one person is nominated for each of the positions, the nominated candidates shall be installed by the election committee.
